Is the Elite Pro the best Aquabot on the market?
The Aquabot Elite Pro is a top-of-the-line Aquabot cleaner that packs a host of features and powerful performance. So let's dive in and see how it compares to other top-of-the-line cleaners in its pool coverage, filtration ability, and feature set and warranty!
When it comes to pool coverage, the Aquabot Elite Pro can do it all. Once I plugged it in and got it running, the Elite Pro covered my whole pool from the floor to the waterline. I would even say it performs just as good as the Dolphin Sigma and Premier at the waterline. The Elite Pro has rubber tracks, dual scrubbing brushes, a gyroscope, and a stabilizer that doubles as a handle. The dual brushes ensure that it has enough power to tackle any debris, from stuck-on algae to leaves and twigs. When I first put it into my pool, I was having a little bit of a problem with leaves, and after one cleaning cycle, they were gone.
I was super excited to find another robot that includes a gyroscope too. Gyroscopes help a robot by watching its position and maintaining its balance. The Sigma was the first robot to introduce this, and the Elite Pro was the next in line. Just like the Sigma, you may not be able to see the gyroscope in the Elite Pro, but when it reaches the waterline and stays there, you can see it in action. Thanks to its complete pool coverage and exceptional waterline cleaning thanks to its gyroscope, I have to give the Elite Pro a 5/5 in pool coverage.
Next, I looked at the filtration ability of the Aquabot Elite Pro. The Elite Pro has dual filtration cartridges with clear tops. I am a little disappointed it only comes with one filtration media though, as other premium units, like the Dolphin Sigma, includes a NanoFilter set. The Dolphin Premier, of course, cannot be beaten in this category with its Multi-Media filtration, which includes fine filters, NanoFilters, oversized leaf bag, and an optional disposable debris bag.

Without any other filter options, the Elite Pro can still clean your pool very well, getting a lot of larger and smaller debris. It just won't be as good as bots with multiple options. I do give the Elite Pro a little bonus in this area though as its filters are very well designed.
I just love the way they snap into the robot and become invisible. The translucent tops are also something I wish more robots would incorporate, as they allow me to peek in and see if its filters need to be cleaned. Despite its lack of options, the sleek design and see-through tops are nice to see, so I give the Elite Pro a 3.5/5 in filtration ability.
Finally, let's look at the feature set and warranty on the Aquabot Elite Pro. If you have seen a few of my videos, you know I am always looking for the easiest to use robot, and that means if it has an app, I love it. The Elite Pro is a bot I love, as you can pair it quickly and easily with your phone to set schedules, steer the robot, and much more. This makes the Elite Pro super user-friendly, which makes me very happy.
The Elite Pro is already a great deal thanks to its great coverage, well-designed filters, and app connectivity, and the warranty makes this an even better deal. The Elite Pro comes with a three-year warranty, which means you will not have to foot any bill for repairs or replacements anytime soon.
This warranty is one of the best you will find; the Dolphin Premier and Sigma are the only other bots that I know of that have a three-year warranty. Warranties may be easy to overlook, but they can save you a lot of money for years to come. Because of its three years of coverage and app connectivity, I just have to give the Elite Pro a 5/5 in the feature set and warranty category.
Wrapping it all up, the Aquabot Elite Pro scores a 9/10 overall. It is an amazing cleaner thanks to its gyroscope, smart design, app connectivity, three-year warranty, and much more. If you are looking for a bot that can do just about everything, you cannot go wrong with the Elite Pro.
